The time he had spent around Jude had always been short and sweet, and always ended with Jude playing the same games Cadel usually played with other people. The tables being turned on him was frustrating but it intrigued him, too, and kept him interested in Jude. His part of their little game was that he acted like some mixture of coy and just slightly interested before pulling back. Today, however, he was feeling particularly shitty and was honestly glad to know Jude was coming over. When he stepped through the door, Cadel had just dropped himself onto the couch and he rolled his head to look at him, a tired smile on his face. His fingers were covered in paint and some was spattered across his shirt. Running his fingers through his hair painted some of it the shade of blue that was on his fingers, but he didn't care about that at the moment. The smell of pizza made his stomach rumble and he licked his lips, "I was already out of bed this time. Could've stayed in this time though. Pretty sure Ilsa is gonna fuck up my deadline." Which was something he definitely couldn't complain about.
